Deep purple color, thick and viscous in the glass.  Fragrant aromas of red currant, black cherry, creme de cassis, with complex vanillin and sweet spice and hints of cedar, violets, rose petals, tobacco, and mocha.  Full bodied and meaty, with supple, velvety tannins, firm texture, and ripe black fruits through its long finish. Highly structured, and expected to evolve greater depth with age.
